Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Benjamin Tigelaar started the match with the kick off. Jouke Engelaar's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 3rdth minute, Bob Telkamp skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 4th minute Bob Beuk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bob Telkamp saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 9 minutes into the match, Vinkenkade's goal looked a bit too open when Hans Staal came free, but Jan-Willem Ruiter reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jan-Willem Ruiter took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benjamin Tigelaar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 12 minutes, Jouke Engelaar put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Bob Telkamp. Hans Staal took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jan-Willem Ruiter. Jan-Willem Ruiter dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. With a little luck, Ajax FC's Bob Telkamp got control of the ball when Jouke Engelaar tried to sneak it across the goal line. Demy Zeldenrust's late challenge caught a Ajax FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Demy Zeldenrust helped the player get up and apologised. Jan-Willem Ruiter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hans Staal in the 25th minute of play. Jouke Engelaar's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Bob Telkamp firmly grabbed it by the left post. Jan-Willem Ruiter showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hans Staal in the 33rd minute of the match. Jouke Engelaar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bob Telkamp having to interfere. After having played for 37 minutes, Bob Beuk managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vinkenkade's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bob Beuk was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jouke Engelaar got free with Bob Telkamp in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jan Doren during the 39th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Ajax FC getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Jan Doren hit a great ball. Jouke Engelaar might have been able to make a better finish in the 45th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bob Telkamp. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jouke Engelaar ran back to his position shaking his head. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

In the 55th minute, Bob Beuk ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bob Telkamp was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Vladimir Hermes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vinkenkade's supporters rose to their feet, but Vladimir Hermes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bob Telkamp breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bob Telkamp showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bob Beuk in the 67th minute of the match. Bob Telkamp went to the wrong direction when Joost Jorna was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Bob Telkamp showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vladimir Hermes, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Ajax FC's Bob Telkamp played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bob Beuk in the 80th minute of play. 81 minutes into the match, Ajax FC's goal looked a bit too open when Vladimir Hermes came free, but Bob Telkamp reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vinkenkade's Jan-Willem Ruiter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benjamin Tigelaar in the 90th minute of play. Benjamin Tigelaar received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jan-Willem Ruiter came out and tried to block the shot, but Benjamin Tigelaar slotted it home off the left post making it 3-2 in the 92nd minute. In the 95th minute, Reinhard Hertog hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vinkenkade walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
