If Bernard Oldenbeuving had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Floris Klaasens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erwin Popping in the 6th minute of play. Floris Klaasens made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sjors Harmens in the 7th minute. A sloppy throw-in by Eddy Seinstra in the 20th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Brunnepe FC's Bart Zevenberg. 21 minutes into the game, Vincent Spiljard cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Adriaan Drenth was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience was convinced that Vincent Spiljard's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Adriaan Drenth was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Henk van Zwieten got free with Floris Klaasens in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carel Kikkert couldn't finish the play. Adriaan Drenth showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ernst van der Haar in the 39th minute of the match. Sjors Harmens sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Bernard Oldenbeuving received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Brunnepe FC's Adriaan Drenth proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Brunnepe FC from getting a goal against them. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Stefan Spaan during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Brunnepe FC's Stefan Spaan got a free kick in the 58th minute. After 61 played minutes Kraayenstein RKSV got a freekick which was hit by Ernst van der Haar. In the 75th match minute, Brunnepe FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stefan Spaan to maneuver through the defense. Vincent Spiljard who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 76thth minute tested the skills of Adriaan Drenth when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Floris Klaasens took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sjors Harmens, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Brunnepe FC's Erwin Popping got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 90th minute, Carel Kikkert got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 97th minute of the match Floris Reiling shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Floris Klaasens showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The Brunnepe FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Kraayenstein RKSV were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
