In the 14th minute, Dolf van Zomeren got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 18 minutes into the match, Barca's goal looked a bit too open when Jos Ridder came free, but Hans-Cees Warneke reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Endepoel FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jos Ridder was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Hans-Cees Warneke made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robert Rensenbrink in the 54th minute of play. If Daniël Deijnen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Robert Rensenbrink took the ball and in the 60 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hans-Cees Warneke. Hans-Cees Warneke dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. In the 66th minute, Laurens Donderwinkel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dolf van Zomeren scored 2-2 in the 72nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Stef Kosterman, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Rogier Hoogland had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Christiaan Crans's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Stef Kosterman read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Harry van Heiningen during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 79 played minutes Endepoel FC got a freekick which was hit by Harry van Heiningen. 82 minutes into the match, Martijn de Vries notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of Barca's Hans-Cees Warneke. Hans-Cees Warneke was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Christiaan Crans advanced and headed the ball into goal, 3-3 in the 92nd minute. Barca were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
