Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) 4 minutes into the match, Wim Pieters dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Hans-Cees Warneke, 1-0. Leendert van Gaal hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Stefan Harding got free with Hans-Cees Warneke in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Barca's Christiaan Crans got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 16th minute, Leendert van Gaal reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Hans-Cees Warneke. The goal made the score 2-0. A hard shot 19 in the game by Wim Pieters from a close distance when the talented Hans-Cees Warneke managed to make a qualified save. Barca's players were relieved. Dolf van Zomeren struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Robbie Legdeur didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Barca. In the 23rd minute Stefan Harding shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hans-Cees Warneke saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dolf van Zomeren during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 23 played minutes Barca got a freekick which was hit by Dolf van Zomeren. Hans-Cees Warneke showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leendert van Gaal, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Barca's zone, Stefan Harding stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hans-Cees Warneke came out of the goal and Stefan Harding tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Barca's Hans-Cees Warneke got control of the ball when Wim Pieters tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Gentle Ds's goalkeeper Robbie Legdeur, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Daniël Deijnen kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Hans-Cees Warneke showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stefan Harding, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. 37 minutes into the game, Daniël Deijnen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Barca's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gentle Ds the free kick. In the 37th match minute, Barca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniël Deijnen to maneuver through the defense. 37 minutes into the match, Gentle Ds's Stefan Harding broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After having played for 40 minutes, Dolf van Zomeren managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Barca's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dolf van Zomeren was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 43rd match minute, Barca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kevin van den Brink to maneuver through the defense. Hans-Cees Warneke made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pieter van Fessum in the 46th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stefan Harding in the 48th minute of play forced Barca's goalkeeper Hans-Cees Warneke to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Stefan Harding was the one to do the kick off. 55 minutes into the match, Barca's goal looked a bit too open when Wim Pieters came free, but Hans-Cees Warneke reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Barca's Hans-Cees Warneke played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wim Pieters in the 59th minute of play. Hans-Cees Warneke came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by Gentle Ds's Stefan Harding. But to his dismay, Stefan Harding quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. 66 minutes into the game, Stefan Harding cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Hans-Cees Warneke was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 70th minute Leendert van Gaal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hans-Cees Warneke saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Christiaan Crans recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 75th minute Stefan Harding shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hans-Cees Warneke saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Stefan Harding hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. After having played for 79 minutes, Stefan Harding managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gentle Ds's supporters crossed their fingers, but Stefan Harding was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 79th minute Stefan Harding shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hans-Cees Warneke saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Christiaan Crans might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Robbie Legdeur. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Christiaan Crans ran back to his position shaking his head. Dolf van Zomeren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robbie Legdeur having to interfere. 89 minutes into the match, Leendert van Gaal had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hans-Cees Warneke. Barca's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Leendert van Gaal was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. Robbie Legdeur stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Daniël Deijnen's shot from short distance in the 94th minute. Hans-Cees Warneke made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stefan Harding in the 96th minute of play. Gentle Ds's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
