Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jef Baatenburg during the 3rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. If Andy Klein had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Brain Fransen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Harenkarspel's supporters rose to their feet, but Brain Fransen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kenneth Geerds breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Johannes Deijkers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kenneth Geerds having to interfere. Felix Eising recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Waal Eendracht's Jef Baatenburg got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Johannes Deijkers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Kenneth Geerds tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Jan Hendrik Ploeger came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Waal Eendracht fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jan Hendrik Ploeger couldn't finish the play. Kenneth Geerds took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felix Eising, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 29 minutes into the game, Andy Klein was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Waal Eendracht's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Harenkarspel the free kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Felix Eising in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kenneth Geerds saved Waal Eendracht from getting behind. In the 35th minute, Jan Hendrik Ploeger hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jef Baatenburg blasted a shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Izaak Evers having to make a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Felix Eising managed to get in a good position for a shot. Harenkarspel's supporters rose to their feet, but Felix Eising was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kenneth Geerds breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Waal Eendracht's Kenneth Geerds played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Johannes Deijkers in the 55th minute of play. 58 minutes into the match, Waal Eendracht's goal looked a bit too open when Johannes Deijkers came free, but Kenneth Geerds reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Andy Klein received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Izaak Evers tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kenneth Geerds was out of position in the 68 minute of play, and Johannes Deijkers capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Johannes Deijkers really showed his touch with that goal: 0-1. Jef Baatenburg struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Izaak Evers didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Waal Eendracht. Jan Hendrik Ploeger received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Izaak Evers tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Waal Eendracht booed when Harenkarspel was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Brain Fransen didn't get a good kick on the ball. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Harenkarspel had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
