In the 6th minute, Klaas Jeronimus got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jens Vonk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pierre Roordink in the 8th minute of play. Gregor Rensenbrink kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Slaperstil HC's Jens Vonk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robin Arnolds in the 12th minute of play. A hard shot 16 in the game by Florian Maurits from a close distance when the talented Jos Engbers managed to make a qualified save. seremalandarekle's players were relieved. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robin Arnolds in the 24th minute of play forced Slaperstil HC's goalkeeper Jens Vonk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 26th minute, Gregor Rensenbrink hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Florian Maurits could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Jos Engbers made a huge save. Jens Vonk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robin Arnolds, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Slaperstil HC's goalkeeper Jens Vonk, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. seremalandarekle's Jos Engbers proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save seremalandarekle from getting a goal against them. After having played for 45 minutes, Rogier Roelofs managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Slaperstil HC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rogier Roelofs was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Klaas Jeronimus made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Florian Maurits in the 56th minute of play forced seremalandarekle's goalkeeper Jos Engbers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 57 minutes of play, Slaperstil HC's Florian Maurits made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jos Engbers was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience was convinced that Klaas Jeronimus's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jos Engbers was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. Jens Vonk made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Pierre Roordink sent off a good shot on target. Florian Maurits sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Florian Maurits recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Robin Arnolds received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Jens Vonk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Robin Arnolds sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 75 minutes, Erwin van der Aa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the seremalandarekle and the Slaperstil HC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Florian Maurits took the ball and in the 76 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jos Engbers. Jos Engbers dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Pierre Roordink's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 79thth minute, Jens Vonk skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Pierre Roordink received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Jens Vonk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Florian Maurits received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Jos Engbers tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Florian Maurits had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in seremalandarekle's zone, Klaas Jeronimus stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jos Engbers came out of the goal and Klaas Jeronimus tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Florian Maurits received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Jos Engbers tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Slaperstil HC fully deserved thier win.
