Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) FC SURIBO's Robbie Terpstra started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Marco Evenhuis fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC SURIBO's protests and gave Marco Evenhuis a yellow card for diving instead. After 7 played minutes FC SURIBO got a freekick which was hit by Marco Evenhuis. Cees Eising made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mitchell Dijken in the 8th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Robbie Terpstra's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Koos Pool was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. 18 minutes into the match, FC SURIBO's goal looked a bit too open when Ed Maasland came free, but Cees Eising reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 19 played minutes Wilhelmsoord got a freekick which was hit by Ate Ronde. Robbie Terpstra kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Cees Eising made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ed Maasland in the 24th minute of play. 29 minutes into the match, Wilhelmsoord's goal looked a bit too open when Romulo Faron came free, but Koos Pool reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A hard shot by Riemer Bender from long distance, 35 minutes into the match, got Koos Pool's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Cees Eising made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dirk Adams in the 38th minute of play. Koos Pool showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oliver Alberda, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Robbie Terpstra might have been able to make a better finish in the 44th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Koos Pool. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Robbie Terpstra ran back to his position shaking his head.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dirk Adams to make the kick off. Oliver Alberda recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Koos Pool showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oliver Alberda in the 55th minute of the match. In the 58th minute, Wilhelmsoord's Dirk Adams dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-1. Dirk Adams fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cees Eising having to interfere. Ed Maasland's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Cees Eising firmly grabbed it by the left post. 74 minutes into the match, Dirk Adams dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Cees Eising, 0-2. Ed Maasland received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Cees Eising tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind Wilhelmsoord's goalkeeper Koos Pool, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Robbie Terpstra in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Koos Pool prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Koos Pool took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oliver Alberda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 93rd minute Robbie Terpstra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Koos Pool saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 95 minutes into the match, FC SURIBO's goalkeeper Cees Eising had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pim Vondel. In the 96th minute, Dirk Adams reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Cees Eising. The goal made the score 0-3. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Wilhelmsoord walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
