Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Abraham Vorenkamp took the kick off in the first half of the match. Abraham Vorenkamp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Abraham Vorenkamp might have been able to make a better finish in the 12th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lucien Bogarde. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Abraham Vorenkamp ran back to his position shaking his head. 14 minutes into the game, Hendrik-Jan Saarloos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Rogier Boon was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 16 played minutes Bubus FC got a freekick which was hit by Marco Duinhoven. Bubus FC's Lucien Bogarde proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Bubus FC from getting a goal against them. Varselder S.C.'s Rogier Boon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hendrik-Jan Saarloos in the 21st minute of play. 24 minutes into the match, Leendert Hadders notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Varselder S.C.'s Rogier Boon. Rogier Boon was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 28th match minute, Bubus FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jelle Planting to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 35 minutes, Stijn Molenaar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Varselder S.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Stijn Molenaar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Abraham Vorenkamp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Bubus FC getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Kevin Schoonderwoerd hit a great ball. Rogier Boon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leendert Hadders in the 48th minute of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hendrik-Jan Saarloos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Stijn Molenaar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Lucien Bogarde tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hendrik-Jan Saarloos succeeded in the game's 60th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-3. After having played for 65 minutes, Abraham Vorenkamp managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Varselder S.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Abraham Vorenkamp was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lucien Bogarde took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stijn Molenaar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Abraham Vorenkamp fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucien Bogarde having to interfere. Lucien Bogarde came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by Varselder S.C.'s Stijn Molenaar. But to his dismay, Stijn Molenaar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. Rogier Boon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hendrik-Jan Saarloos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Leendert Hadders came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Bubus FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leendert Hadders couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stijn Molenaar in the 87th minute of play forced Bubus FC's goalkeeper Lucien Bogarde to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hendrik-Jan Saarloos charged in rather forcefully in the 88th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hendrik-Jan Saarloos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. If Stijn Molenaar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Varselder S.C.'s Stijn Molenaar got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Bubus FC booed when Varselder S.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Co van Fessum didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Varselder S.C. supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Bubus FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Bubus FC.
