After some careless play in the Broeksittard defense, Leendert Hadders kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Adriaan Jongsma. The Broeksittard fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Adriaan Jongsma should have stopped the shot. Lucien Bogarde took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Berry Dol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leendert Buckinx lost his temper 8 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Lucien Bogarde went to the wrong direction when Timmie Schuurmans was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Berry Dol in the 12th minute of play forced Bubus FC's goalkeeper Lucien Bogarde to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 25thth minute of the game Berry Dol who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bubus FC's Lucien Bogarde was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Bernard Meulman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 28 minutes into the match, Bubus FC's goal looked a bit too open when Berry Dol came free, but Lucien Bogarde reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jelle Planting hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. When Berry Dol, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 49 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Lucien Bogarde was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

In the 54thth minute of the game Berry Dol who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bubus FC's Lucien Bogarde was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Bubus FC's zone, Berry Dol stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lucien Bogarde came out of the goal and Berry Dol tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Berry Dol received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Lucien Bogarde tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lucien Bogarde stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Berry Dol's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. After having played for 70 minutes, Bernard Meulman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Broeksittard's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bernard Meulman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 72nd minute of the game. One of Broeksittard:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Bubus FC:s goal. Adriaan Jongsma showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aad Schaars in the 77th minute of the match. In the last second Lucien Bogarde throw himself and got hold of the ball when Berry Dol in the 82ndth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Lucien Bogarde showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Berry Dol, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Leendert Hadders recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Berry Dol sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Bernard Meulman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Broeksittard's Berry Dol got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bernard Meulman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Lucien Bogarde tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leendert Hadders in the 99th minute of play forced Broeksittard's goalkeeper Adriaan Jongsma to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bernard Meulman in the 101stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Lucien Bogarde, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When the referee blew the final whistle, Bubus FC could leave the field as winners, despite Broeksittard having more of the ball for most of the match.
