Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Berry Dol started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Rogier Boon came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by Broeksittard's Berry Dol. But to his dismay, Berry Dol quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Berry Dol managed to get in a good position for a shot. Broeksittard's supporters rose to their feet, but Berry Dol was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rogier Boon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jordy de Freitas hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Berry Dol sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 16th match minute, Varselder S.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kelvin van den Eede to maneuver through the defense. Mike Seinstra kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. In the 23rd minute, Bernard Meulman made a precise shot to the right of Rogier Boon. Varselder S.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Bernard Meulman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rogier Boon having to interfere. After 29 played minutes Broeksittard got a freekick which was hit by Timmie Schuurmans. Mike Seinstra, 30 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 32nd minute, Henk-Jan Eschendaal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Stijn Molenaar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adriaan Jongsma having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dick Deuring during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Dick Deuring hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Varselder S.C.'s zone, Berry Dol stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rogier Boon came out of the goal and Berry Dol tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 45th minute, Bernard Meulman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Berry Dol managed to get in a good position for a shot. Broeksittard's supporters rose to their feet, but Berry Dol was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rogier Boon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The wind increased when Abraham Vorenkamp made the kick off in the second half. Bernard Meulman who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 52ndth minute tested the skills of Rogier Boon when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Rogier Boon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Berry Dol, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Bernard Meulman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Broeksittard's supporters rose to their feet, but Bernard Meulman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rogier Boon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 58th match minute, Varselder S.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Co van Fessum to maneuver through the defense. When Bernard Meulman came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Broeksittard fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bernard Meulman couldn't finish the play. Bernard Meulman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Broeksittard booed when Varselder S.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Co van Fessum didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bernard Meulman scored 1-3 in the 63rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rogier Boon, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 68th minute Abraham Vorenkamp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adriaan Jongsma saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Co van Fessum hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Varselder S.C.'s Rogier Boon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Berry Dol in the 77th minute of play. A hard shot 79 in the game by Bernard Meulman from a close distance when the talented Rogier Boon managed to make a qualified save. Varselder S.C.'s players were relieved. If Stijn Molenaar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mike Seinstra took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 86th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Adriaan Jongsma. Broeksittard's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Berry Dol struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Rogier Boon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Broeksittard. 95 minutes into the match, Broeksittard's goal looked a bit too open when Abraham Vorenkamp came free, but Adriaan Jongsma reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Varselder S.C. fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Broeksittard were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
