The audience thought a goal was coming when Wim Brürs got free with Lucien Bogarde in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 5 minutes into the match, Bubus FC's goal looked a bit too open when Joop Hesp came free, but Lucien Bogarde reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Moespot V.V.'s Wessel van Someren got a free kick in the 7th minute. Leendert Hadders fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Martien Hartlief having to interfere. After having played for 11 minutes, Hendrik-Jan Saarloos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bubus FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hendrik-Jan Saarloos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Wessel van Someren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Bubus FC's Lucien Bogarde played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joop Hesp in the 18th minute of play. If Hendrik-Jan Saarloos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hendrik-Jan Saarloos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Martien Hartlief tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leendert Hadders sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Joop Hesp succeeded in the game's 45th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Wim Brürs blasted a shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lucien Bogarde having to make a save. When Moespot V.V.'s Joop Hesp in the 53rd minute got a chance for a shot 53rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Bubus FC's goalie prevented a goal. Jelle Planting charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jelle Planting the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Bubus FC getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Jelle Planting hit a great ball. 57 minutes into the game, Wessel van Someren was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Moespot V.V.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bubus FC the free kick. After 57 played minutes Moespot V.V. got a freekick which was hit by Wessel van Someren. Martien Hartlief showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hendrik-Jan Saarloos in the 65th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leendert Hadders got free with Martien Hartlief in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Leendert Hadders had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wessel van Someren hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Martien Hartlief showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hendrik-Jan Saarloos, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. After a rather tough play, Moespot V.V.'s Remond Graaff got a free kick in the 84th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Carel Westerhof during the 87th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 87 played minutes Bubus FC got a freekick which was hit by Carel Westerhof. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Joop Hesp managed to get in a good position for a shot. Moespot V.V.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Joop Hesp was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lucien Bogarde breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Joop Hesp received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Lucien Bogarde tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Moespot V.V.'s supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
