To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 25 minutes into the match, Co Ravenbergen had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Allard Heijen. Mandela Voetbal Federatie's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Co Ravenbergen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After 28 minutes, Julius Landzaat mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ADO Den Haag and the Mandela Voetbal Federatie players grew even worse after the yellow card. Julius Landzaat kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. In the 31st minute Mandela Voetbal Federatie were awarded a corner. Oliver Meertens went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 40th match minute, Mandela Voetbal Federatie was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ferdi Saelman to maneuver through the defense. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Luc Konterman was the one to do the kick off. Klaas Jan Broekema sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gilbert Daverveld took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Klaas Jan Broekema, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luc Konterman blasted a shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gilbert Daverveld having to make a save. 57 minutes into the match, Mandela Voetbal Federatie's Luc Konterman sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gilbert Daverveld narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Co Ravenbergen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Allard Heijen made a huge save. When the match had gone on for 76 minutes, Co Ravenbergen took a quick shot and it went in 2-2 without a chance for Allard Heijen to make any attempt to save it. After a rather tough play, Mandela Voetbal Federatie's Bruno Staal got a free kick in the 81st minute. A collision led to ADO Den Haag getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Dave Mulders hit a great ball. 92 minutes into the match, Luc Konterman had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gilbert Daverveld. ADO Den Haag's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luc Konterman was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. 96 minutes into the match, Mandela Voetbal Federatie's goalkeeper Allard Heijen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Co Ravenbergen.
