Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Leggelo's Otto Prinsen started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience was convinced that Otto Prinsen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eric Maasland was relentless in the 6th minute of the game. Vincent Kuypers took the ball and in the 9 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Edward de Zwaan. Edward de Zwaan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. After 17 minutes, Gerben Heesen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Weite RKSV and the Leggelo players grew even worse after the yellow card. Gerben Heesen hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind Weite RKSV's goalkeeper Eric Maasland, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Edward de Zwaan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vincent Kuypers in the 20th minute of play. Eric Maasland took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Otto Prinsen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 29th match minute, Weite RKSV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Robbie Zenden to maneuver through the defense. In a very dangerous position, a player in Weite RKSV fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 31st minute. Penalty! When the match had been going on for 33 minutes, Leggelo's Ivo Schoonbeek got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Eric Maasland. Otto Prinsen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eric Maasland having to interfere. With a little luck, Weite RKSV's Eric Maasland got control of the ball when Elbert Olfers tried to sneak it across the goal line.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vincent Kuypers stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Otto Prinsen came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Leggelo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Otto Prinsen couldn't finish the play. When Gertjan Aukes fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Leggelo's protests and gave Gertjan Aukes a yellow card for diving instead. In the 55th match minute, Weite RKSV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vincent Kuypers to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Maarten Zoetmulder during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Elbert Olfers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eric Maasland having to interfere. In the 62nd minute Elbert Olfers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eric Maasland saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 66 minutes into the match, Gerben Heesen notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Leggelo's Edward de Zwaan. Edward de Zwaan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 83 minutes into the match, Vincent Kuypers dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Edward de Zwaan, 1-4. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gerben Heesen got free with Edward de Zwaan in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 93 minutes into the match, Weite RKSV's Vincent Kuypers sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Edward de Zwaan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Leggelo's zone, Vincent Kuypers stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edward de Zwaan came out of the goal and Vincent Kuypers tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Weite RKSV eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
