Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Erik Meppelink got the match started through his kick off. Martijn Brouwer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Mathijs Saenen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 5th minute by Mark Blank got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Mathijs Saenen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Theo Bouwens, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Theo Bouwens sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Martijn Brouwer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Mathijs Saenen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martijn Brouwer in the 16th minute of the match. Mathijs Saenen came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by Norden RKSV's Theo Bouwens. But to his dismay, Theo Bouwens quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Mathijs Saenen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martijn Brouwer, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. If Theo Bouwens had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 32nd minute, Theo Bouwens ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mathijs Saenen was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. In the 36th minute Martijn Brouwer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mathijs Saenen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mathijs Saenen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martijn Brouwer in the 40th minute of play. Mark Blank received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Melvin Bosma tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Theo Bouwens sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Theo Bouwens to make the kick off. Theo Bouwens fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mathijs Saenen having to interfere. After 65 minutes, Julius de Vries mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Norden RKSV and the FC Utreg players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Norden RKSV getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Julius de Vries hit a great ball. Erik Meppelink recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lukas Appeldoorn fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Melvin Bosma having to interfere. After having played for 73 minutes, Erik Meppelink managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Utreg's supporters crossed their fingers, but Erik Meppelink was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mark Blank kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. After having played for 82 minutes, Theo Bouwens managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Norden RKSV's supporters crossed their fingers, but Theo Bouwens was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Julius de Vries was shown his second yellow card after 86 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. A collision led to Norden RKSV getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Julius de Vries hit a great ball. In the 88th minute Lukas Appeldoorn shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Melvin Bosma saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Melvin Bosma made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lukas Appeldoorn in the 92nd minute of play. If Lukas Appeldoorn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Norden RKSV had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
