In the 17th match minute, Norden RKSV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Melvin de Zeeuw to maneuver through the defense. Theo Schuttrup showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Theo Bouwens in the 20th minute of the match. Abraham Friebel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Melvin Bosma read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. The supporters of Django United FC booed when Norden RKSV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Melvin de Zeeuw didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Norden RKSV's zone, Jacob Schmidt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Melvin Bosma came out of the goal and Jacob Schmidt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Theo Schuttrup showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Theo Bouwens, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. In the 37th minute the ball was on its way in behind Django United FC's goalkeeper Theo Schuttrup, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 38 played minutes Django United FC got a freekick which was hit by Daan Kaspers. If Martijn Brouwer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 46 minutes into the game, Fernando van de Meerakker was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Norden RKSV's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Django United FC the free kick. The supporters of Django United FC booed when Norden RKSV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fernando van de Meerakker didn't get a good kick on the ball. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jacob Schmidt to make the kick off. Norden RKSV's Melvin Bosma played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacob Schmidt in the 52nd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Norden RKSV's zone, Abraham Friebel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Melvin Bosma came out of the goal and Abraham Friebel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Theo Bouwens in the 67th minute of play forced Django United FC's goalkeeper Theo Schuttrup to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee felt a red card was in order, 73 minutes into the game, when Niek Spierenburg put in a rough tackle. 72 minutes into the game, one of Norden RKSV:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Theo Schuttrup showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martijn Brouwer in the 84th minute of the match. Jacob Schmidt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Melvin Bosma having to interfere. If Jacob Schmidt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Norden RKSV's Martijn Brouwer got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Norden RKSV's Melvin Bosma got control of the ball when Abraham Friebel tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Jacob Schmidt kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Melvin Bosma. That made the score 0-4 in the 97 minute of play. Django United FC played a much better game than Norden RKSV and deserved their victory. The Norden RKSV players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
