Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Jaap Bekker got the match started through his kick off. 13 minutes into the game, Dick Kooij cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Joeri Bulder was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a defensive mix-up in FC Kamperland's zone, Danny Tamminga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jacob Heide came out of the goal and Danny Tamminga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rogier Som sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Jaap Bekker came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the FC Kamperland fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jaap Bekker couldn't finish the play. Jacob Heide came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Varseveld S.V.'s Rogier Som. But to his dismay, Rogier Som quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. The supporters of Varseveld S.V. booed when FC Kamperland was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jan-Peter Ter didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jacob Heide made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rogier Som in the 34th minute of play. Danny Tamminga hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. In the 44th minute of the match FC Kamperland got a corner. Varseveld S.V.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Edgar Lucius ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on FC Kamperland's corner Edgar Lucius fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Joeri Bulder quite easily take care of the ball. After 47 played minutes Varseveld S.V. got a freekick which was hit by Falco Wikenburg.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rogier Som was the one to do the kick off. Jacob Heide made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Florian Cruijff in the 54th minute of play. When FC Kamperland's Jaap Bekker in the 56th minute got a chance for a shot 56th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Varseveld S.V.'s goalie prevented a goal. Joeri Bulder stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jaap Bekker's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. Joeri Bulder showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jaap Bekker in the 58th minute of the match. In the 63rd minute, Rogier Som got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 64th minute, Dick Kooij made a precise shot to the right of Joeri Bulder. Varseveld S.V.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind Varseveld S.V.'s goalkeeper Joeri Bulder, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Varseveld S.V.'s Joeri Bulder played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jaap Bekker in the 71st minute of play. Florian Cruijff might have been able to make a better finish in the 74th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jacob Heide. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Florian Cruijff ran back to his position shaking his head. Jacob Heide made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rogier Som in the 76th minute of play. Varseveld S.V.'s Joeri Bulder played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jaap Bekker in the 79th minute of play. In the 90th minute, Jaap Bekker got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Florian Cruijff had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rogier Som fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacob Heide having to interfere. In the 96th match minute, FC Kamperland was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mark Stuifzand to maneuver through the defense. After 99 minutes FC Kamperland's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Elbert Ros who took care of the corner kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of FC Kamperland's goalie and right to Danny Tamminga. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. FC Kamperland's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal.
