Albert Zomerdijk's late challenge caught a FC Kamperland's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Albert Zomerdijk helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Stokt getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Albert Zomerdijk hit a great ball. Jacob Heide made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Izaak Reitsma in the 6th minute of play. After 10 played minutes Stokt got a freekick which was hit by Gert Merenga. In the 13th minute Izaak Reitsma shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacob Heide saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dick Kooij got free with Ralf Hoiting in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in FC Kamperland's zone, Izaak Reitsma stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jacob Heide came out of the goal and Izaak Reitsma tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gert Merenga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 26thth minute of the game Izaak Reitsma who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Kamperland's Jacob Heide was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 27th match minute, FC Kamperland was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mark Stuifzand to maneuver through the defense. 31 minutes into the match, Stokt's Izaak Reitsma sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jacob Heide narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bertus Zuidema during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Gerben de Jong hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. FC Kamperland's Jacob Heide played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Izaak Reitsma in the 45th minute of play. 45 minutes into the match, Izaak Reitsma had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jacob Heide. FC Kamperland's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Izaak Reitsma was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After the first half Stokt were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Izaak Reitsma was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute Jaap Bekker shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ralf Hoiting saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ralf Hoiting showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dick Kooij in the 63rd minute of the match. Dick Kooij blasted a shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ralf Hoiting having to make a save. Izaak Reitsma recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gert Merenga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dick Kooij in the 82nd minute of play forced Stokt's goalkeeper Ralf Hoiting to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bram Zijden's late challenge caught a FC Kamperland's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bram Zijden helped the player get up and apologised. Bram Zijden hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. If Gert Merenga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
