Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) NKP Podhale Nowy Targ's Martien Wesseling started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 5th minute of the match Wissenkerke got a corner. NKP Podhale Nowy Targ's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gerrit Diggele ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led to Wissenkerke's Lukas Sandbergen getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. With a little luck, Wissenkerke's Coos Janssens got control of the ball when Robbie Walstra tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tomas Rekers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stephan Deijnen having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Martien Wesseling during the 15th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Wissenkerke booed when NKP Podhale Nowy Targ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Martien Wesseling didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Martien Wesseling in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Coos Janssens prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Stephan Deijnen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ronald Stolte in the 23rd minute of the match. In the 25th match minute, NKP Podhale Nowy Targ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yuri Spijkerman to maneuver through the defense. Robbie Walstra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Coos Janssens having to interfere. Martien Wesseling's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Coos Janssens read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. Stephan Deijnen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ronald Stolte, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. In the 47th minute, Ronald Stolte ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Stephan Deijnen was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

After 55 played minutes Wissenkerke got a freekick which was hit by Dirk Schophuis. Rogier Wijkstra's late challenge caught a Wissenkerke's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rogier Wijkstra helped the player get up and apologised. After 57 played minutes NKP Podhale Nowy Targ got a freekick which was hit by Rogier Wijkstra. In the 62nd minute, Ronald Stolte got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 65 played minutes NKP Podhale Nowy Targ got a freekick which was hit by Jef Huizinga. After recieving a nice pass, Wissenkerke's Gerrit Diggele tried to score from far away in the 66th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Tomas Rekers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Stephan Deijnen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Egbert Averdijk kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Stephan Deijnen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ronald Stolte in the 74th minute of play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 75th minute of the game. One of Wissenkerke:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of NKP Podhale Nowy Targ:s goal. Coos Janssens took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Martien Wesseling, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Paul van Zwieten kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. In the 90th match minute, Wissenkerke was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabian Kleine to maneuver through the defense. If Martien Wesseling had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 99th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wissenkerke were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
