In the 14th minute, Bilboa Emphes's Jan van der Weerden dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Thijs Deiman struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Dirk Stuifzand didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bruggenum S.V.. Thijs Deiman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thijs Deiman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jordi Zijden was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Rinus Eringa showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 25 minute of play. After 32 minutes, Thijs Deiman made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. Bilboa Emphes's Dirk Stuifzand tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Thijs Deiman might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dirk Stuifzand. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Thijs Deiman ran back to his position shaking his head. Ernst Nijemanting blasted a shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dirk Stuifzand having to make a save. In the 39th minute Thijs Deiman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dirk Stuifzand saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dirk Stuifzand showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thijs Deiman, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. 43 minutes into the game, Bilboa Emphes's Jan van der Weerden nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jordi Zijden made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rinus Eringa made a kick off. Jordi Zijden showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jan van der Weerden in the 53rd minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jan van der Weerden in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jordi Zijden saved Bruggenum S.V. from getting behind. If Rinus Eringa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 66 minutes into the match, Bruggenum S.V.'s goal looked a bit too open when Rinus Eringa came free, but Jordi Zijden reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rinus Eringa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jordi Zijden having to interfere. Ernst Nijemanting sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Bilboa Emphes getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Ryan Gerfen hit a great ball. Thijs Deiman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dirk Stuifzand having to interfere. Thijs Deiman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rinus Eringa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Jordi Zijden tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Bilboa Emphes had won after a very even match.
