Ed Bos made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Roger Kiewit sent off a good shot on target. In the 20th minute Iwan Rooze shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ed Bos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Iwan Rooze received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Ed Bos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Roger Kiewit had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in jordi land's zone, Tjeerd Veenema stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ruben Crans came out of the goal and Tjeerd Veenema tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ruben Crans had in the 31stth minute some difficulties stopping Mario Roetering's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Mark de Cock sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Tjeerd Veenema had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Brongerga booed when jordi land was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Menno Soer didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Brongerga players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented jordi land from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
