Stef Compaan's late challenge caught a Augsbuur Excelsior's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Stef Compaan helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Wognum Eendracht's Stef Compaan got a free kick in the 9th minute. 12 minutes into the match, Augsbuur Excelsior's goal looked a bit too open when Heiko Hartogh came free, but Rudolf Valk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rudolf Valk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Heiko Hartogh in the 13th minute of the match. Dimitrie Wijker sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pierre de Jong showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bennie Kiewiet in the 18th minute of the match. Bennie Kiewiet struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Pierre de Jong didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Augsbuur Excelsior. Berend Panter hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. In the 30th minute of the match Hugo Boeve sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Pierre de Jong skillfully saved the ball. With a left leg Rudolf Valk saved Augsbuur Excelsior from getting behind. Dimitrie Wijker could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Pierre de Jong made a huge save. When Dimitrie Wijker came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Augsbuur Excelsior fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dimitrie Wijker couldn't finish the play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Stef Compaan to strike the kick off in the second half. When Augsbuur Excelsior's Dimitrie Wijker in the 56th minute got a chance for a shot 56th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Augsbuur Excelsior's Bennie Kiewiet got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 61 minutes into the match, Wognum Eendracht's goal looked a bit too open when Dimitrie Wijker came free, but Pierre de Jong reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bennie Kiewiet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Pierre de Jong tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With 79 minutes on the clock, Dennis Hesseling commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Wognum Eendracht fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 78th minute. Penalty! Wognum Eendracht:s Pierre de Jong showed great skill when he stopped Hugo Boeve:s penalty. Pierre de Jong showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dimitrie Wijker in the 90th minute of the match.
