Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Jasper Alkema showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teo Lemmen in the 6th minute of the match. Pascall Paas charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pascall Paas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Kaumeshoek booed when FC Smoothpapies was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pascall Paas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jelle Bont received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Jasper Alkema tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Kaumeshoek's zone, John Klasens stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maurice Westra came out of the goal and John Klasens tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jan Hendrik Brürs's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Maurice Westra read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. Maurice Westra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jan Hendrik Brürs, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. John Klasens fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maurice Westra having to interfere. Gerrit Lamey kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Bram van Zeggeren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Jelle Bont came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Kaumeshoek fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jelle Bont couldn't finish the play. John Klasens scored 2-1 in the 48th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Maurice Westra, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
Kaumeshoek's Jelle Bont got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Teo Lemmen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Jelle Bont managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kaumeshoek's supporters rose to their feet, but Jelle Bont was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jasper Alkema breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 80 minutes, Jan Hendrik Brürs managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Smoothpapies's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jan Hendrik Brürs was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. FC Smoothpapies's Jasper Alkema played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jelle Bont in the 82nd minute of play. A collision led to FC Smoothpapies getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Gerrit Lamey hit a great ball. Alex Wilminck, 88 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 92nd match minute, Kaumeshoek was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bram van Zeggeren to maneuver through the defense. 93 minutes into the match, Reinier Hardering sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Maurice Westra threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Reinier Hardering this time. For all the effort they put into the match, the FC Smoothpapies players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Kaumeshoek.
