Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Peter Pals started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Rottevalle S.C.'s Ron Ponk got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Through an outstanding action, after 8 minutes, Jan Rooze successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. If Ron Ponk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 14 played minutes Tul got a freekick which was hit by Roderick Roodenburg. 15 minutes into the match, Tul's goal looked a bit too open when Matthijs Baker came free, but Jan Rooze reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Rottevalle S.C. booed when Tul was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roderick Roodenburg didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 23 minutes, Marco van Amersfoort mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tul and the Rottevalle S.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Tul's Marco van Amersfoort got a free kick in the 23rd minute. When Matthijs Baker came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Rottevalle S.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Matthijs Baker couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Peter Pals in the 36th minute of play forced Rottevalle S.C.'s goalkeeper Berry Wibier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tonny Lever charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tonny Lever the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martin Grol in the 41st minute of play forced Rottevalle S.C.'s goalkeeper Berry Wibier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Berry Wibier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roderick Roodenburg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 45 minutes, Matthijs Baker took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Jan Rooze to make any attempt to save it. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Stijn Cardinaal made the kick off in the second half. Martin Grol could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Berry Wibier made a huge save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Stijn Cardinaal in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jan Rooze saved Tul from getting behind. Stijn Cardinaal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jan Rooze having to interfere. A collision led to Tul getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Geale Kromme hit a great ball. When Marco van Amersfoort was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 61 minutes had been played. Marco van Amersfoort kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Auke van der Weerden sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Stijn Cardinaal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rottevalle S.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Stijn Cardinaal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jan Rooze breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some careless play in the Rottevalle S.C. defense, Martin Grol kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Berry Wibier. The Rottevalle S.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Berry Wibier should have stopped the shot. The Tul fans' excitement grew in the 81st match minute when Tul's Martin Grol looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 86th match minute, Tul was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Martin Grol to maneuver through the defense. Jan Rooze showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stijn Cardinaal in the 88th minute of the match. A collision led to Tul getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Martin Grol hit a great ball. With a little luck, Rottevalle S.C.'s Berry Wibier got control of the ball when Martin Grol tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rottevalle S.C. were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
