Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The supporters of Espele booed when Gloria UC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robin van Loo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kees Staal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Karsten Stroobos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Henry Idema fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gloria UC's protests and gave Henry Idema a yellow card for diving instead. Marco van Dongen blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Karsten Stroobos having to make a save. Riemer Abbekerk was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 32 minutes into the match. After 31 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Erik Redan during the 65th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
