Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Theo Waesbergen kicked off to start the match. In the 4th minute, Edgard Kooij got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Edgard Kooij came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the West Thrace FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edgard Kooij couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in SC Kilimanjaro's zone, Edgard Kooij stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roland Baars came out of the goal and Edgard Kooij tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Roland Baars was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Edgard Kooij showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 14 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgard Kooij in the 20th minute of play forced SC Kilimanjaro's goalkeeper Roland Baars to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. West Thrace FC's Edgard Kooij got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Erwin Brouwer came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the West Thrace FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Erwin Brouwer couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jan-Willem Westerhof in the 33rd minute of play forced West Thrace FC's goalkeeper Lucas Vonk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Erwin Brouwer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 35 minutes into the match, Edgard Kooij dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Roland Baars, 2-0. Demy Thole kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. 43 minutes into the match, West Thrace FC's goal looked a bit too open when Theo Waesbergen came free, but Lucas Vonk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of West Thrace FC booed when SC Kilimanjaro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tjeerd de Boer didn't get a good kick on the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edgard Kooij made a kick off. Lucas Vonk was out of position in the 52 minute of play, and Theo Waesbergen capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Theo Waesbergen really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. 60 minutes into the match, West Thrace FC's Erwin Brouwer sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Roland Baars narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Roland Baars didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Erwin Brouwer went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Lucas Vonk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Theo Waesbergen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 76 minutes into the match, West Thrace FC's goalkeeper Lucas Vonk had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jan-Willem Westerhof. Edgard Kooij sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Roland Baars didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Erwin Brouwer went, in the 86th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. Erwin Brouwer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. West Thrace FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
