Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Harald Daelemans started the match with the kick off. 6 minutes into the match, Troepmannen's goal looked a bit too open when Frans Bette came free, but Frits Bleiswijk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nico-Jan Wielaert kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Frits Bleiswijk stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alexander Nieuwburg's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexander Nieuwburg in the 15th minute of play forced Troepmannen's goalkeeper Frits Bleiswijk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alexander Nieuwburg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hans Konterman took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Frits Bleiswijk. Frits Bleiswijk dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Frits Bleiswijk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexander Nieuwburg in the 23rd minute of play. Frits Bleiswijk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hans Konterman in the 24th minute of play. Harald Daelemans fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wim Bekker having to interfere. When Harald Daelemans fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Troepmannen's protests and gave Harald Daelemans a yellow card for diving instead. After 33 played minutes Troepmannen got a freekick which was hit by Harald Daelemans. Alexander Nieuwburg might have been able to make a better finish in the 34th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Frits Bleiswijk. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alexander Nieuwburg ran back to his position shaking his head. Frits Bleiswijk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexander Nieuwburg in the 36th minute of play. Frans Bette recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 41 minutes into the game, Alexander Nieuwburg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Frits Bleiswijk was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Alexander Nieuwburg took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Frits Bleiswijk. Frits Bleiswijk dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Alexander Nieuwburgs short, quick shot in the 56thth minute got Frits Bleiswijk to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 60th minute, Alexander Nieuwburg ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Frits Bleiswijk was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. With a little luck, Troepmannen's Frits Bleiswijk got control of the ball when Alexander Nieuwburg tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Harald Daelemans had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 67th minute, Christijan Hoogstrate got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 70th minute the ball was on its way in behind Troepmannen's goalkeeper Frits Bleiswijk, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Alexander Nieuwburg came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Fc. Nickstar fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alexander Nieuwburg couldn't finish the play. In the 79th minute Harald Daelemans shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wim Bekker saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Troepmannen booed when Fc. Nickstar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alexander Nieuwburg didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 85 minutes, Harald Daelemans managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Troepmannen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Harald Daelemans was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 92nd minute, Frans Bette made a precise shot to the right of Frits Bleiswijk. Troepmannen's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. Alexander Nieuwburg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frits Bleiswijk having to interfere. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Fc. Nickstar eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
