Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Leon Schreuder took the kick off in the first half of the match. Wagenberg SV's Leon Schreuder got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jens Onrust showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lex Stühling, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. After having played for 9 minutes, Laurens Veen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Wagenberg SV's supporters crossed their fingers, but Laurens Veen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Leon Schreuder received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Wim van Zwieten tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 18th play minute Laurens Veen came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Wim van Zwieten. 1-0. Wim van Zwieten took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leon Schreuder, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lex Stühling in the 30th minute of play forced Wagenberg SV's goalkeeper Jens Onrust to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wim van Zwieten made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Laurens Veen sent off a good shot on target.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Job Oude Kamphuis was the one to do the kick off. In the 66thth minute of the game Leon Schreuder who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Nieuwertera's Wim van Zwieten was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Laurens Veen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 70 minutes into the match, Nieuwertera's goal looked a bit too open when Laurens Veen came free, but Wim van Zwieten reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Leon Schreuder managed to get in a good position for a shot. Wagenberg SV's supporters rose to their feet, but Leon Schreuder was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wim van Zwieten breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. There was no doubt that Wagenberg SV were the better team. Wagenberg SV's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
