Marcel Siebum didn't get a good kick on the ball. fc genemuiden's Timo Stroeve played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Falco Hanekamp in the 7th minute of play. fc genemuiden's Timo Stroeve proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save fc genemuiden from getting a goal against them. Jan van Dijk hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Algarvistan FC's Sebastiaan Barends played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joeri Borg in the 13th minute of play. The Algarvistan FC fans' excitement grew in the 18th match minute when Algarvistan FC's Robert Reitsma looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Joeri Borg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sebastiaan Barends having to interfere. Timo Stroeve stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Carlo Veltrop's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. After having played for 37 minutes, Joeri Borg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. fc genemuiden's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joeri Borg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 39th minute, Simon Zomerdijk made a precise shot to the right of Sebastiaan Barends. Algarvistan FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Fokke van Rhijn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Simon Zomerdijk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

Toni Prinsen kicked well hit freekick during the 50th minute of the match. 53 minutes into the match, fc genemuiden's goal looked a bit too open when Carlo Veltrop came free, but Timo Stroeve reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joeri Borg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Algarvistan FC's Ramon Robbermond got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ramon Robbermond hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. If Simon Zomerdijk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Falco Hanekamp charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Falco Hanekamp the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. If Fokke van Rhijn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 80 minutes into the game, Joeri Borg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. fc genemuiden's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Algarvistan FC the free kick. In the 80th match minute, fc genemuiden was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joeri Borg to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Algarvistan FC defense, Fokke van Rhijn kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sebastiaan Barends. The Algarvistan FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sebastiaan Barends should have stopped the shot. Timo Stroeve made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlo Veltrop in the 89th minute of play. Carlo Veltrop scored 2-2 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Timo Stroeve, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Timo Stroeve made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robert Reitsma in the 95th minute of play. Algarvistan FC were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing fc genemuiden to leave the ground with a draw.
