When Frits Eschendaal came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Bakbrochjes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Frits Eschendaal couldn't finish the play. Bram Denneboom showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kenneth Taalman in the 9th minute of the match. After 9 played minutes Bakbrochjes got a freekick which was hit by Ernest Teuben. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Arjen Lindeman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bakbrochjes's supporters rose to their feet, but Arjen Lindeman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Martien Beukenkamp breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 13th minute, Frits Eschendaal made a precise shot to the right of Martien Beukenkamp. hagar united's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Martien Beukenkamp made an important save on a dangerous shot by Frits Eschendaal in the 19th minute. hagar united's Martien Beukenkamp played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gerard Bergmeester in the 22nd minute of play. The supporters of Bakbrochjes booed when hagar united was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jelte Bok didn't get a good kick on the ball. hagar united's Martien Beukenkamp played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frits Eschendaal in the 46th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Remond Aalst to strike the kick off in the second half. Bram Denneboom was out of position in the 52 minute of play, and Kenneth Taalman capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Kenneth Taalman really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. hagar united's Martien Beukenkamp played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victor Keller in the 57th minute of play. Bram Denneboom made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Remond Aalst in the 67th minute of play. Ernest Teuben hit a great ball. Bram Denneboom made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kenneth Taalman in the 77th minute. If Gerard Bergmeester had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Bakbrochjes's Bram Denneboom got control of the ball when Kenneth Taalman tried to sneak it across the goal line. Martien Beukenkamp made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frits Eschendaal in the 87th minute of play. In the 95th minute, hagar united's Kenneth Taalman ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Bram Denneboom. Bram Denneboom yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-4. hagar united were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Bakbrochjes's much stronger midfield.
