Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Frits Eschendaal got the match started through his kick off. Bakbrochjes's Frits Eschendaal got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match clock showed 6 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Frits Eschendaal sped through Blauwe Maandag's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jens Hagenouw. Wim Kloppenburg took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 10th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Bram Denneboom. Bakbrochjes's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Bram Denneboom took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julius Bömker, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In a very dangerous position, a player in Bakbrochjes fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 14th minute. Penalty! Bakbrochjes:s Bram Denneboom showed great skill when he stopped Herman van Kampen:s penalty. Blauwe Maandag's Jens Hagenouw proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Blauwe Maandag from getting a goal against them. In the 24th minute, Gerard Bergmeester hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bram Denneboom took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stefan Zeijlemaker, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Stefan Zeijlemaker's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bram Denneboom read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. Blauwe Maandag's defense didn't have a chance, in the 32nd minute, when Gerard Bergmeester scored to the left of an out of position Jens Hagenouw, making the score, 2-0. Bakbrochjes's Bram Denneboom played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernard Cales in the 35th minute of play. Bram Denneboom went to the wrong direction when Herman van Kampen was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Bakbrochjes's Frits Eschendaal got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Victor Keller sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Victor Keller might have been able to make a better finish in the 45th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jens Hagenouw. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Victor Keller ran back to his position shaking his head. Jens Hagenouw made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Jacob Hekman sent off a good shot on target. The crowd rose to their feet as Bakbrochjes's Victor Keller slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jens Hagenouw. That made the score 3-0 after 48 minutes of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Julius Bömker was the one to do the kick off. In the 55th minute, Victor Keller got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 56 minutes, Victor Keller managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bakbrochjes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Victor Keller was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Arjen Lindeman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Victor Keller managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bakbrochjes's supporters rose to their feet, but Victor Keller was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jens Hagenouw breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 61 minutes, Stefan Zeijlemaker mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Blauwe Maandag and the Bakbrochjes players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Blauwe Maandag's goalkeeper Jens Hagenouw, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Victor Keller received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Jens Hagenouw tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 71st minute, Gerard Bergmeester got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bram Denneboom took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julius Bömker, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Victor Keller struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Jens Hagenouw didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bakbrochjes. Gerard Bergmeester blasted a shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jens Hagenouw having to make a save. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind Blauwe Maandag's goalkeeper Jens Hagenouw, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Frits Eschendaal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jens Hagenouw came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Bakbrochjes's Jacob Hekman. But to his dismay, Jacob Hekman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. If Arjen Lindeman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jens Hagenouw took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rudolf Griemink, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gerard Bergmeester fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jens Hagenouw having to interfere. The Bakbrochjes fans' excitement grew in the 94th match minute when Bakbrochjes's Victor Keller looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 6-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 98th minute, Aad Saeijs got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Bakbrochjes had played much better football throughout.
