With a little luck, Forza Zwolle's Jens Bessing got control of the ball when Rob Deijkers tried to sneak it across the goal line. Franck van der Linden blasted a shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jens Bessing having to make a save. Jens Bessing showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sjoerd van Zomeren, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. After 28 played minutes, Duindorp's Laurens de Cler shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jens Bessing came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Duindorp reached it. Rob Deijkerss short, quick shot in the 35thth minute got Jens Bessing to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The supporters of Duindorp booed when Forza Zwolle was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jordy Borst didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Forza Zwolle defense, Rob Deijkers kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jens Bessing. The Forza Zwolle fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jens Bessing should have stopped the shot. Duindorp's Sjoerd van Zomeren got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rob Deijkers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Jens Bessing showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sjoerd van Zomeren in the 70th minute of the match. Menno Timmermans kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. 71 minutes into the match, Sjoerd van Zomeren had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jens Bessing. Forza Zwolle's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sjoerd van Zomeren was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Martin Hulsebos made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Bas van Olst sent off a good shot on target. In the 83rd minute Sjoerd van Zomeren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jens Bessing saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rob Deijkers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Jens Bessing tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Sjoerd van Zomeren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 90 minutes into the match, Duindorp's Sjoerd van Zomeren sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jens Bessing narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Rob Deijkers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Jens Bessing tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Duindorp's Sjoerd van Zomeren got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Rob Deijkers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There was no doubt that Duindorp were the better team. Duindorp's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
