Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Harry Blind took the kick off in the first half of the match. Harry Blind sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Menno Zilverberg came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Mill fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Menno Zilverberg couldn't finish the play. In the 9thth minute of the game Harry Blind who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Monster Energy Ultra's Dirk Jan Ommen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Harry Blind sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 13th match minute, Monster Energy Ultra was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dick van Veldhuizen to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Mill's Marcel Kleefstra tried to score from far away in the 14th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Dirk Jan Ommen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Menno Zilverberg in the 18th minute of the match. Mill's Falco Ottenhof played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastiaan Berg in the 31st minute of play. Christijan van Zeijl sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sebastiaan Berg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Falco Ottenhof tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 37th match minute, Mill was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcel Kleefstra to maneuver through the defense. In the 38th minute, Vincent Veenker sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Mill's Falco Ottenhof didn't even have to move. Dirk Jan Ommen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Menno Zilverberg in the 42nd minute of play. In the 43rd match minute, Monster Energy Ultra was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Japke Kok to maneuver through the defense. With an all-out effort, Monster Energy Ultra's Falco Ottenhof threw himself towards the right post 47 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Sebastiaan Berg, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sebastiaan Berg to strike the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Sebastiaan Berg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Monster Energy Ultra's supporters rose to their feet, but Sebastiaan Berg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Falco Ottenhof breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Falco Ottenhof made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christijan van Zeijl in the 54th minute of play. After 55 played minutes Monster Energy Ultra got a freekick which was hit by Sebastiaan Berg. Dirk Jan Ommen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Menno Zilverberg went, in the 57th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After a defensive mix-up in Mill's zone, Christijan van Zeijl stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Falco Ottenhof came out of the goal and Christijan van Zeijl tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 72 minutes into the match, Mill's goal looked a bit too open when Christijan van Zeijl came free, but Falco Ottenhof reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Sebastiaan Berg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 75th of the match, Harry Blind tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Dirk Jan Ommen got in the way and made a wonderful save. A collision led to Monster Energy Ultra getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Christijan van Zeijl hit a great ball. Menno Zilverberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Dirk Jan Ommen made a huge save. Dirk Jan Ommen was a little too slow when Harry Blind got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 83rd minute. The score was now 1-3. Christijan van Zeijl recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Mill players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
