Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Teun Lamberts took the kick off in the first half of the match. Sander Moek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sjors Roewen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 15th minute Dolf Zon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolf Valk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 19 minutes into the match, Twijzel's goal looked a bit too open when Dolf Zon came free, but Rolf Valk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 29th minute, Sjors Roewen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Demy Daniels could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Sander Moek made a huge save. Karel Colen kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Ter Heijde aan Zee's zone, Sjors Roewen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sander Moek came out of the goal and Sjors Roewen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sander Moek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sjors Roewen in the 41st minute of the match. Luuk Karremans received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Sander Moek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sjors Roewen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Derk Wansink kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sjors Roewen was the one to do the kick off. Sander Moek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luuk Karremans in the 51st minute of the match. Sjors Roewen struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Sander Moek didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Twijzel. A collision led to Ter Heijde aan Zee getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Richard Oude Kamphuis hit a great ball. Teun Lamberts sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dolf Zon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 79 minutes into the game, Luc Deuring was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ter Heijde aan Zee's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Twijzel the free kick. When the match had gone on for 86 minutes, Sjors Roewen put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Sander Moek. A collision led to Twijzel getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Karel Colen hit a great ball. After having played for 90 minutes, Teun Lamberts managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ter Heijde aan Zee's supporters crossed their fingers, but Teun Lamberts was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Ter Heijde aan Zee's zone, Sjors Roewen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sander Moek came out of the goal and Sjors Roewen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Twijzel had played much better football throughout.
