An unexpectedly hard shot by Stef Carel in the 24th minute of play forced Hommert's goalkeeper Leonard Laskowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leonard Laskowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stef Carel, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. In the 29th minute Stef Carel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonard Laskowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half Aaldonk Utd were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tonny Diggele stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Hommert's Leonard Laskowski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Hommert from getting a goal against them. 55 minutes into the match, Hommert's goalkeeper Leonard Laskowski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Yuri Oosterhof.
