Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Demy van Dijk started the match with the kick off. Bernard Graaf kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Julius Talsma took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Demy van Dijk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 12thth minute of the game Arjan van Zijl who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lunteren VV's Floris Buring was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Niels-Jan Wijker fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vroenhout's protests and gave Niels-Jan Wijker a yellow card for diving instead. In the 17th minute, Niels-Jan Wijker hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Egbert Mulders was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 18th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Lunteren VV's goalkeeper Floris Buring, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 24 minutes into the game, Arjan van Zijl cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Floris Buring was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Demy van Dijk received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Julius Talsma came out and tried to block the shot, but Demy van Dijk slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 28th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jacobus de Rooy got free with Julius Talsma in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After recieving a nice pass, Lunteren VV's Egbert Mulders tried to score from far away in the 44th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After 47 minutes of play, Lunteren VV's Jacobus de Rooy made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Julius Talsma was left in no man's land by his defense there! All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Arjan van Zijl fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Floris Buring having to interfere. Floris Buring made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arjan van Zijl in the 77th minute of play. Jacobus de Rooy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Julius Talsma tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Lunteren VV getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Demy van Dijk hit a great ball. 82 minutes into the game, Lunteren VV's Demy van Dijk nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Julius Talsma made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. In the 86th minute of the match Gerben Heuving sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Floris Buring skillfully saved the ball. Julius Talsma showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jacobus de Rooy, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. When Gerben Heuving fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vroenhout's protests and gave Gerben Heuving a yellow card for diving instead. In the 92nd minute, one of Vroenhout:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Vroenhout. Julius Talsma went to the wrong direction when Egbert Mulders was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. 5-1 became the score in the 96th minute when Demy van Dijk elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Lunteren VV walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
