Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Pieter Jol made the kick off which started today's match. Fernando de Zeeuw showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arjan van Zijl, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. In the 8th minute, Martien Ijspol got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Martien Ijspol recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Pieter Jol came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Wateregge fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pieter Jol couldn't finish the play. After having played for 23 minutes, Pieter Jol managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Wateregge's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pieter Jol was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 24th minute, Wateregge's Pieter Jol ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Julius Talsma. Julius Talsma yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pieter Jol in the 28th minute of play forced Vroenhout's goalkeeper Julius Talsma to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Wateregge's goalkeeper Fernando de Zeeuw, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Arjan van Zijl had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 40 played minutes Wateregge got a freekick which was hit by Pieter Jol. In the 48th minute, Wateregge's Pieter Jol dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Arjan van Zijl to strike the kick off in the second half. After having played for 55 minutes, Pieter Jol managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Wateregge's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pieter Jol was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 67th minute the ball was on its way in behind Vroenhout's goalkeeper Julius Talsma, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 68th minute of the game. One of Vroenhout:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Wateregge:s goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hub de Ruijter during the 70th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When the match clock showed 74 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Pieter Jol sped through Vroenhout's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Julius Talsma. Arjan van Zijl blasted a shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fernando de Zeeuw having to make a save. Martien Ijspol fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julius Talsma having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Wateregge's Andreas Vorenkamp got a free kick in the 89th minute. When Pieter Jol came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Wateregge fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pieter Jol couldn't finish the play. Wateregge's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
