Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Roel Bruinsma started the match with the kick off. Marcel Hovenkamp in the 3rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Pieter-Jan Saelman, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The supporters of Egypte booed when Akkooi FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anton Zijlstra didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ferdi Tulner during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. If Roel Bruinsma had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 25th minute, Rein Wesseling hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sander Kostermans's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pepijn Daalmeyer read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. 30 minutes into the match, Akkooi FC's goalkeeper Pieter-Jan Saelman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marcel Hovenkamp. Marcel Hovenkamp received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Pieter-Jan Saelman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pieter-Jan Saelman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roel Bruinsma, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rein Wesseling during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Egypte getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Rein Wesseling hit a great ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sander Kostermans to make the kick off. In the 51st minute, Roel Bruinsma hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 53rd minute, Pepijn Jans hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Roel Bruinsma sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pieter-Jan Saelman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcel Hovenkamp in the 61st minute of play. Marcel Hovenkamp fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pieter-Jan Saelman having to interfere. Pepijn Daalmeyer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sander Kostermans in the 66th minute of play. Pieter-Jan Saelman came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by Egypte's Marcel Hovenkamp. But to his dismay, Marcel Hovenkamp quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Robert-Jan Kooij took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 73rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Pepijn Daalmeyer. Egypte's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Marcel Hovenkamp received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Pieter-Jan Saelman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 76 minutes into the match, Akkooi FC's goal looked a bit too open when Roel Bruinsma came free, but Pieter-Jan Saelman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rein Wesseling in the 79th minute of play forced Akkooi FC's goalkeeper Pieter-Jan Saelman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 84 minutes into the match, Roel Bruinsma notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Akkooi FC's Pieter-Jan Saelman. Pieter-Jan Saelman was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Roel Bruinsma had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pieter-Jan Saelman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcel Hovenkamp in the 96th minute of play. When the referee ended the match the Egypte players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
