Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) After a rather tough play, GeenStijl FC's Hendrik Sturkenboom got a free kick in the 4th minute. If Dirk-Jan Bot had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. GeenStijl FC's Ferry Wilmink got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 12th match minute, Baby Kanarie Kicks was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Egbert van der Sar to maneuver through the defense. Baby Kanarie Kicks's John Penders played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anthony Kikkert in the 17th minute of play. Dirk-Jan Bot recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 27th minute, Berend Wegman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 36 played minutes GeenStijl FC got a freekick which was hit by Tommie Hof. Egbert van der Sar received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Teo Bessing came out and tried to block the shot, but Egbert van der Sar slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 41st minute. John Penders took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tommie Hof, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 45 minutes, Tommie Hof made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Baby Kanarie Kicks's John Penders tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Anthony Kikkert to make the kick off. When Diderik Halen fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored GeenStijl FC's protests and gave Diderik Halen a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Baby Kanarie Kicks booed when GeenStijl FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Diderik Halen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dirk-Jan Bot's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Teo Bessing read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. Ferry Wilmink kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. In the 61st minute Dirk-Jan Bot shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teo Bessing saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Egbert van der Sar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Anthony Kikkert had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of GeenStijl FC booed when Baby Kanarie Kicks was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bastiaan Rieks didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Dirk-Jan Bot had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 93rd minute, Dirk-Jan Bot got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Berend Wegman during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
