The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 9th minute, Dick Kramer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Roderick Ronde received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Vincent Huizen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 13th minute of the match, Roderick Ronde tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Vincent Huizen saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roeland Fellinger in the 20th minute of play forced Wons's goalkeeper Jaap Jurjens to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Joris Kruiswijk during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Joris Kruiswijk kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. When Marco Schouten fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Bloed Aan De Paal's protests and gave Marco Schouten a yellow card for diving instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roderick Ronde in the 28th minute of play forced FC Bloed Aan De Paal's goalkeeper Vincent Huizen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vincent Huizen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roderick Ronde, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Roderick Ronde sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Dick Kramer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Roderick Ronde recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Roeland Fellinger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jaap Jurjens having to interfere. In the 69th minute, Joris Kruiswijk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 75 minutes into the match, FC Bloed Aan De Paal's goal looked a bit too open when Dick Kramer came free, but Vincent Huizen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Roderick Ronde fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vincent Huizen having to interfere. Dick Kramer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Vincent Huizen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 81 played minutes Wons got a freekick which was hit by Niels Poels. FC Bloed Aan De Paal were awarded a corner in the 86th minute after Wons's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daan Pinksteren took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Daan Pinksteren got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jaap Jurjens quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Iwan Hofland received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Vincent Huizen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to FC Bloed Aan De Paal getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Jan-Willem van Dalfsen hit a great ball. In the 92nd minute of the match Klaus Alkema sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Vincent Huizen skillfully saved the ball. Wons were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of FC Bloed Aan De Paal for a fine match.
