Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Roderick Ronde made the kick off and thus started the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Stefan Lubbers in the 4th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jaap Jurjens saved Wons from getting behind. In the 8th match minute, Kapolder was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Coos Ihselmann to maneuver through the defense. 9 minutes into the match, Wons's Klaus Alkema broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. When Dick Kramer, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 11 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Niek Ronde was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. 15 minutes into the match, Kapolder's goal looked a bit too open when Roderick Ronde came free, but Niek Ronde reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Kapolder getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Marinus Meijeringh hit a great ball. After having played for 17 minutes, Roderick Ronde managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Wons's supporters crossed their fingers, but Roderick Ronde was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Niek Ronde made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roderick Ronde in the 19th minute of play. Marinus Meijeringh hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Kapolder's Niels Zwiers got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jaap Jurjens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stefan Lubbers in the 36th minute of play. In the 37th minute, Niels Zwiers left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kapolder fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Niels Zwiers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jaap Jurjens having to interfere. Kapolder's Niek Ronde played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dick Kramer in the 45th minute of play. Dick Kramer struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Niek Ronde didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Wons. Niek Ronde made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roderick Ronde in the 47th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Stefan Lubbers to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Kapolder's Marinus Meijeringh got a free kick in the 54th minute. Marinus Meijeringh kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Niek Ronde didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dick Kramer went, in the 57th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Stefan Lubbers's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jaap Jurjens read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. After 63 played minutes Wons got a freekick which was hit by Iwan Hofland. When Stefan Lubbers came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Kapolder fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Stefan Lubbers couldn't finish the play. Dick Kramer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Stefan Lubbers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Jaap Jurjens tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Wons getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Anton Kaspers hit a great ball. Niels Zwiers struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Jaap Jurjens didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kapolder. Jaap Jurjens showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stefan Lubbers in the 83rd minute of the match. In the 85th match minute, Wons was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Niels Poels to maneuver through the defense. After 86 played minutes, Kapolder's Stephan Castelen shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jaap Jurjens came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Kapolder reached it. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
