Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Mathieu Kuypers took the kick off in the first half of the match. A collision led to FC Dutch Degradatie getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Jelmer Pool hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Arjan van Baarle in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Klaus Ieberts prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rick Schouten received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Bert Ooijer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vincent Carels during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of FC Dutch Degradatie booed when Zwaluwen Vooruit was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vincent Carels didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 20th minute Mathieu Kuypers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Klaus Ieberts saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 21st match minute, FC Dutch Degradatie was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jelmer Pool to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, FC Dutch Degradatie's Fokke Wemers got a free kick in the 26th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mathieu Kuypers in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. In the 36thth minute of the game Mathieu Kuypers who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Dutch Degradatie's Klaus Ieberts was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Mathieu Kuypers came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Zwaluwen Vooruit fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mathieu Kuypers couldn't finish the play. Mathieu Kuypers's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Klaus Ieberts read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mickael van den Bergh to strike the kick off in the second half. FC Dutch Degradatie's Klaus Ieberts proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save FC Dutch Degradatie from getting a goal against them. Arjan van Baarle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Mathieu Kuypers managed to get in a good position for a shot. Zwaluwen Vooruit's supporters rose to their feet, but Mathieu Kuypers was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Klaus Ieberts breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Joost Blom fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Zwaluwen Vooruit's protests and gave Joost Blom a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Zwaluwen Vooruit's Joost Blom got a free kick in the 67th minute. Rick Schouten fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bert Ooijer having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joost Blom in the 74th minute of play forced FC Dutch Degradatie's goalkeeper Klaus Ieberts to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 76th minute, one of Zwaluwen Vooruit:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Zwaluwen Vooruit. After a defensive mix-up in FC Dutch Degradatie's zone, Mathieu Kuypers stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Klaus Ieberts came out of the goal and Mathieu Kuypers tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 96th match minute, FC Dutch Degradatie was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felix Fokkens to maneuver through the defense. Arjan van Baarle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 100th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Klaus Ieberts having to interfere. Despite being the better team, Zwaluwen Vooruit failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
