Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Cor de Hondt took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 4th minute, Teo Rooze fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. 7 minutes into the match, Teo Rooze had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rinus Roorda. Maliskamp's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Teo Rooze was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. 14 minutes into the match, Cor de Hondt notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Burghsluis S.C.'s Yuri Owusu Abeyie. Yuri Owusu Abeyie was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Yuri Owusu Abeyie took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ben Mathijsen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 21stth minute of the game Teo Rooze who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Maliskamp's Rinus Roorda was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 22nd minute of the game. One of Maliskamp:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Burghsluis S.C.:s goal. The goalkeeper, Rinus Roorda, was totally fooled by Burghsluis S.C.'s Gerrit Zaagman, who 23 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Matthijs de Graaf could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Rinus Roorda made a huge save. In the 29th minute Teo Rooze shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rinus Roorda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Maliskamp's Rinus Roorda proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Maliskamp from getting a goal against them. Rinus Roorda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teo Rooze, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 38 minutes into the match, Burghsluis S.C.'s Teo Rooze sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rinus Roorda narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the match clock showed 43 minutes, the score became 2-2 when Cor de Hondt sped through Burghsluis S.C.'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Yuri Owusu Abeyie. After a defensive mix-up in Burghsluis S.C.'s zone, Ben Mathijsen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yuri Owusu Abeyie came out of the goal and Ben Mathijsen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Teo Rooze was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teo Rooze in the 52nd minute of play forced Maliskamp's goalkeeper Rinus Roorda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Teo Rooze in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rinus Roorda prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Yuri Owusu Abeyie took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cor de Hondt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Matthijs de Graaf sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Maliskamp booed when Burghsluis S.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Demy Sligter didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Burghsluis S.C.'s zone, Cor de Hondt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yuri Owusu Abeyie came out of the goal and Cor de Hondt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Cor de Hondt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gido Höhenstein in the 76th minute of play forced Burghsluis S.C.'s goalkeeper Yuri Owusu Abeyie to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 77 minutes into the match, Maliskamp's goal looked a bit too open when Teo Rooze came free, but Rinus Roorda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Maliskamp's Rinus Roorda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teo Rooze in the 82nd minute of play. After having played for 84 minutes, Teo Rooze managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Burghsluis S.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Teo Rooze was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rinus Roorda stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Matthijs de Graaf's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. If Matthijs de Graaf had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Teo Rooze's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rinus Roorda read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play.
