Erik Schreuder fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Martin Ros having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Erik Schreuder managed to get in a good position for a shot. All Stars's supporters rose to their feet, but Erik Schreuder was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Martin Ros breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With his leg Peter Hateboer managed to avoid a goal in the 14thth minute, when Brommelen's Hans-Cees Assendelft fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 14 played minutes All Stars got a freekick which was hit by Derk Hebels. Peter Hateboer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rick Enzing, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Erik Schreuder fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Martin Ros having to interfere. Brommelen's Martin Ros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gert Jan Brürs in the 19th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hans-Cees Assendelft got free with Peter Hateboer in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, All Stars's Corné Dekker got a free kick in the 35th minute. The supporters of Brommelen booed when All Stars was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Herman Kostermans didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Rick Enzing's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Peter Hateboer was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. It was a penalty for All Stars! The referee gave Brommelen a penalty, 60 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Marc Spiljard, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of All Stars's Peter Hateboer. 2-0. Hans-Cees Assendelft received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Peter Hateboer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Erik Schreuder blasted a shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Martin Ros having to make a save. All Stars's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Iwan Boon in the 72nd minute. A nice corner shot did that Iwan Boon got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Martin Ros quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Martin Ros was a little too slow when Erik Schreuder got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 73rd minute. The score was now 2-1. Gert Jan Brürs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Brommelen's Martin Ros proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save Brommelen from getting a goal against them. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind Brommelen's goalkeeper Martin Ros, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Herman Kostermans took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 88th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Martin Ros. Brommelen's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 96th minute the ball was on its way in behind Brommelen's goalkeeper Martin Ros, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
