Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Govert Pietersma started the match with the kick off. In the 6th minute, Ruud van Beukering made a precise shot to the right of Leendert Schenkhuizen. NEUSHOORN CITY's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. NEUSHOORN CITY's Leendert Schenkhuizen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Govert Pietersma in the 13th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Dave Lammens managed to get in a good position for a shot. NEUSHOORN CITY's supporters rose to their feet, but Dave Lammens was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lennart Heeringa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Leendert Schenkhuizen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Govert Pietersma in the 19th minute of the match. Twan Kruijs's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lennart Heeringa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. Dave Lammens scored 1-1 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lennart Heeringa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 24th match minute, Duiksehoef was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jorn Oldenborger to maneuver through the defense. Lennart Heeringa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hugo Opdam, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 27 minutes into the match, Duiksehoef's goal looked a bit too open when Dave Lammens came free, but Lennart Heeringa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Twan Kruijs fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lennart Heeringa having to interfere. Govert Pietersma sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 46 minutes into the match, NEUSHOORN CITY's Luc Snoeks sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lennart Heeringa narrowly saved just below the crossbar.

Lucien Gerfen hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Lennart Heeringa made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Twan Kruijs sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, NEUSHOORN CITY's Luc Snoeks got a free kick in the 65th minute. In the 66th minute the ball was on its way in behind NEUSHOORN CITY's goalkeeper Leendert Schenkhuizen, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ruud van Beukering received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Leendert Schenkhuizen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lucien Gerfen kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Hugo Opdam managed to get in a good position for a shot. NEUSHOORN CITY's supporters rose to their feet, but Hugo Opdam was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lennart Heeringa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd rose to their feet as Dave Lammens kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Lennart Heeringa. That made the score 1-3 in the 78 minute of play. The supporters of NEUSHOORN CITY booed when Duiksehoef was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arjen van Loen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Twan Kruijs recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dave Lammens was extremely unlucky when he, in the 86th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After 86 played minutes NEUSHOORN CITY got a freekick which was hit by Twan Kruijs. When Ruud van Beukering came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Duiksehoef fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ruud van Beukering couldn't finish the play. The Duiksehoef supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching NEUSHOORN CITY's performance. The match ended with a win for NEUSHOORN CITY.
