Maurice Kiewit was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. FC bal op dak's Maurice Kiewit played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Harm ten Rouwelaar in the 7th minute of play. Timmie Jonker's late challenge caught a Kettingwier's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Timmie Jonker helped the player get up and apologised. Timmie Jonker kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Julius Owusu Abeyie fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bertus Hoogsteen having to interfere. Timmie Jonker received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Bertus Hoogsteen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 20th match minute, Kettingwier was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Harm ten Rouwelaar to maneuver through the defense. Kettingwier's Bertus Hoogsteen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hendrik Oldenbeuving in the 21st minute of play. Wesley Terpstra hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Hendrik Oldenbeuving received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Bertus Hoogsteen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 31st minute, FC bal op dak's Hendrik Oldenbeuving dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. If Hendrik Oldenbeuving had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kettingwier's Bertus Hoogsteen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Kettingwier from getting a goal against them. After 42 minutes, Joeri Schenkhuizen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kettingwier and the FC bal op dak players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Kettingwier's Joeri Schenkhuizen got a free kick in the 42nd minute. If Timmie Jonker had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hendrik Oldenbeuving sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Wesley Terpstra to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Hendrik Oldenbeuving shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bertus Hoogsteen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Timmie Jonker sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 63rd minute Wesley Terpstra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maurice Kiewit saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Timmie Jonker scored 2-1 in the 67th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bertus Hoogsteen, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Timmie Jonker recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The attack was good, but when Hendrik Oldenbeuving in the 73rd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. In the 75th minute, Foeke Schuttrup ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bertus Hoogsteen was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. FC bal op dak's Hendrik Oldenbeuving got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Julius Owusu Abeyie's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bertus Hoogsteen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. Bertus Hoogsteen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hendrik Oldenbeuving's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. Bertus Hoogsteen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hendrik Oldenbeuving, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hendrik Oldenbeuving received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Bertus Hoogsteen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Foeke Schuttrup sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. FC bal op dak fully deserved thier win.
