Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) SCL89's Henk Adelaar started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2nd match minute, SCL89 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Henk Adelaar to maneuver through the defense. In the 3rd minute, Gerrit Peters hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Julius Owusu Abeyie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to SCL89 getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Alfred Smits hit a great ball. Donny van Amersfoort charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Donny van Amersfoort the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 11th minute, Donny van Amersfoort hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Demy Dost showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hendrik Oldenbeuving in the 15th minute of the match. Hendrik Oldenbeuvings short, quick shot in the 24thth minute got Demy Dost to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Maurice Kiewit showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Henk Adelaar, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Thomas Ijsselhof sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hendrik Oldenbeuving sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hendrik Oldenbeuving who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 37thth minute tested the skills of Demy Dost when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Hendrik Oldenbeuving received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Demy Dost came out and tried to block the shot, but Hendrik Oldenbeuving slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 39th minute. After 45 played minutes SCL89 got a freekick which was hit by Gerrit Peters. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hendrik Oldenbeuving made a kick off. Julius Owusu Abeyie recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in SCL89's zone, Hendrik Oldenbeuving stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Demy Dost came out of the goal and Hendrik Oldenbeuving tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Hendrik Oldenbeuving had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hendrik Oldenbeuving in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Demy Dost saved SCL89 from getting behind. With a little luck, FC bal op dak's Maurice Kiewit got control of the ball when Henk Adelaar tried to sneak it across the goal line. 63 minutes into the game, Martien Greef was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SCL89's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC bal op dak the free kick. Hendrik Oldenbeuving fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Demy Dost having to interfere. FC bal op dak's Hendrik Oldenbeuving got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 83rd minute, Timmie Jonker got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. SCL89's Demy Dost played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hendrik Oldenbeuving in the 88th minute of play. In the 90th minute, Foeke Schuttrup got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Demy Dost stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hendrik Oldenbeuving's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. There was no doubt that FC bal op dak were the better team. FC bal op dak's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
