Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Luiksgestel's Ronny Dagelet started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ronny Dagelet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Jelle Huiting tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Herbert Schokkenbroek managed to get in a good position for a shot. Luiksgestel's supporters rose to their feet, but Herbert Schokkenbroek was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jelle Huiting breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some careless play in the IJselmuiden SV defense, Herbert Schokkenbroek kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jelle Huiting. The IJselmuiden SV fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jelle Huiting should have stopped the shot. Jelle Huiting stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ronny Dagelet's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. Gertjan Karelse took the ball and in the 18 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jelle Huiting. Jelle Huiting dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. With a little luck, Luiksgestel's Klaas Brons got control of the ball when Mathieu Tinselboer tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jelle Huiting made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ronny Dagelet in the 37th minute of play. Jelle Huiting showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Herbert Schokkenbroek in the 38th minute of the match. Ronny Dagelet struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Jelle Huiting didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Luiksgestel. The IJselmuiden SV players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Luiksgestel were winning 0-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gerrit Boelens made a kick off. Herbert Schokkenbroek received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Luiksgestel's zone, Mathieu Tinselboer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Klaas Brons came out of the goal and Mathieu Tinselboer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mathieu Tinselboer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Klaas Brons having to interfere. Klaas Brons stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gerrit Boelens's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. Mathieu Tinselboer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Klaas Brons tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After recieving a nice pass, IJselmuiden SV's Ted Bömker tried to score from far away in the 92nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. If Ronny Dagelet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Luiksgestel walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
