Harold Daamen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roeland Breinburg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Steve Teunissen made a kick off. When Teun de Zaaijer came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Borgele fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Teun de Zaaijer couldn't finish the play. After 52 minutes, Emiel Butter mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Baium and the Borgele players grew even worse after the yellow card. Emiel Butter kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. If Steve Teunissen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jurgen Ter charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. In the 84th match minute, Borgele was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luc de Rudder to maneuver through the defense. 86 minutes into the match, Borgele's goalkeeper Harold Daamen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Roeland Breinburg.
