Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) In the 3rd minute, Martijn Bakker fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. 4 minutes into the game, Alfred Kok was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Itens FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Wordragen SC the free kick. A collision led to Itens FC getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Alfred Kok hit a great ball. Filip Akkerman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Andreas Ottenhof charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Andreas Ottenhof the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 13th match minute, Itens FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andreas Ottenhof to maneuver through the defense. During the 14th minute of the match Alfred Kok completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Alfred Kok a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Marick Mol, 16 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. When Filip Akkerman came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Wordragen SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Filip Akkerman couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Wordragen SC's zone, Jasper Veen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ed Tijink came out of the goal and Jasper Veen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Itens FC's Riemer Middeljans got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Filip Akkerman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Itens FC's Fernando Alberda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gerrit Sloothaak in the 30th minute of play. In the 33rd minute, Patrick Andriessen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 36 minutes into the match, Gerrit Sloothaak had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fernando Alberda. Itens FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gerrit Sloothaak was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After a rather tough play, Itens FC's Andreas Ottenhof got a free kick in the 43rd minute. After the first half Wordragen SC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Filip Akkerman made the kick off in the second half. Gerrit Sloothaak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 59th minute Riemer Middeljans shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ed Tijink saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 65 played minutes Itens FC got a freekick which was hit by Ivo Matthijs. After a rather tough play, Itens FC's Andreas Ottenhof got a free kick in the 72nd minute. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 74th minute of the game. One of Itens FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Wordragen SC:s goal. The goalkeeper, Fernando Alberda, was totally fooled by Wordragen SC's Marick Mol, who 76 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Alfred de Jong kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Martijn Bakker received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 99th minute. Ed Tijink tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wordragen SC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
