Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Pieter de Wolf took the kick off in the first half of the match. After having played for 4 minutes, Bertus Teesing managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vinkenkade's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bertus Teesing was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hette Wel during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Soepkippen's Gerrit van der Doelen got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Soepkippen's Gerrit van der Doelen in the 12th minute got a chance for a shot 12th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Vinkenkade's goalie prevented a goal. After 12 played minutes Vinkenkade got a freekick which was hit by Ronald Bosstraeten. Vinkenkade's Coenraad Sligter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dolf Brinker in the 15th minute of play. If Gerrit van der Doelen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dolf Brinker took the ball and in the 18 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Coenraad Sligter. Coenraad Sligter dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 21st minute of the match Floris Wagenaar sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Coenraad Sligter skillfully saved the ball. Tonny Verweijen in the 22ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Karel Hoezen, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After some careless play in the Soepkippen defense, Tonny Verweijen kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Karel Hoezen. The Soepkippen fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Karel Hoezen should have stopped the shot. Coenraad Sligter showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dolf Brinker, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. In the 29th match minute, Vinkenkade was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emiel Ewald to maneuver through the defense. Tonny Verweijen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Karel Hoezen made a huge save. Klaus Oosterbaan hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Vinkenkade's Pieter de Wolf got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Vinkenkade booed when Soepkippen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Harris Speelman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dolf Brinker received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Coenraad Sligter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The Soepkippen fans' excitement grew in the 62nd match minute when Soepkippen's Dolf Brinker looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Gerrit van der Doelen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Coenraad Sligter having to interfere. Gerrit van der Doelen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Coenraad Sligter made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dolf Brinker in the 70th minute. Dolf Brinker could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Coenraad Sligter made a huge save. In the 74th match minute, Soepkippen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Klaus Oosterbaan to maneuver through the defense. If Dolf Brinker had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 82nd minute, Gerrit van der Doelen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Vinkenkade getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Ronald Bosstraeten hit a great ball. Dolf Brinker who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 93rdth minute tested the skills of Coenraad Sligter when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Vinkenkade's Bertus Teesing got a free kick in the 95th minute. Floris Wagenaar shot from long distance in the 96th minute, but Coenraad Sligter was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. Soepkippen's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
